Alex Jackson

Mr. Jackson is the Legal Director of the California Climate Project at the Natural Resources Defense Council in San Francisco. In that capacity, he focuses on implementing and defending the suite of clean energy programs developed under California’s Global Warming Solutions Act of 2006 (AB 32) and on pursuing statewide strategies to improve energy efficiency and promote carbon mitigation policies before the California Public Utilities Commission and California Air Resources Board. Prior to joining NRDC, Mr. Jackson earned his JD from UC Berkeley School of Law and a BA in Environmental Policy, History, and Government from Cornell University.
