Fabio Nehme is the Head, Americas, Environmental Products for EDF Trading. EDF Trading is a global energy trading group, and one of the main participants in the global environmental commodities market. In such capacity, Fabio is responsible for the strategy and execution in North and Latin America of EDF Trading environmental commodities business. EDF Trading as a leading player in the Americas’ environmental markets with trading activities covering renewable energy credits (across most US markets), emissions (including California, Quebec, RGGI, CDM and voluntary markets), biomethane, biomass and weather derivatives. Prior to EDF Trading, Fabio held positions at the environmental finance division of the International Finance Corporation (World Bank Group) and the energy arm of the aluminum group Alcoa, working in the United States, Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America. He holds a MBA from IMD, a MA in International Policy from Johns Hopkins University/SAIS, and a BA in Economics from the Universidade de Sao Paulo.
