Henry Stern is Senator Fran Pavley’s principal counsel on matters related to energy, the environment and climate change. Prior to serving in the California Legislature, Henry represented a wide range of clients at Van Ness Feldman in Washington DC, including public utilities, automakers, advanced biofuel producers, renewable electricity generators, energy storage providers, investment banks, universities, and think tanks. Before entering private practice, he served Congressman Henry Waxman on the Energy and Commerce Committee in the US House of Representatives, assisting with the development of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act and the American Clean Energy Security Act.
